Post-traumatic headaches are relieved better than with cold packs or compresses. A study recently conducted at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in LA discovered that massage, as part of hospitals' surgery treatment, reduces pain and muscle spasms in patients who go through the trauma of heart bypass surgery.
